Youth Programs

Food education is needed now more than ever.

We believe that when you teach kids good habits early, the lifelong impact is clear. The Pure Food Kids Workshop creates lasting change by shifting demand towards better food choices for kids and their families.

Our Challenge

Our approach to nutrition is broken

Diet-related diseases is the #1 cause of death in America.

Diet-related diseases, including obesity and diabetes, are effecting our kids at a growing rate: Approximately one in three children and teens living in the U.S. are overweight or obese.

Food companies spend 2 billion dollars each year marketing to children.

Fewer than a dozen enormous companies control almost every large food and beverage brand in the world. Big food is marketing to our kids in schools, on billboards, and on screens.

  • We believe that every child should be able to make informed, healthy food choices.
